The jobs report showed a surprising drop in the retail sector.
At some level, AMZN is a retailer or etailer. What does this
mean for 1Q98 revenues?

CHRIS IGGO, CHIEF U.S. ECONOMIST, BARCLAYS CAPITAL: "We were looking for fall back in construction jobs as they had been extraordinarily strong in last three months, so that was expected to some extent, but retail trade was a bit of a surprise. I am not sure if that is just a calendar quick or a seasonal thing. But if you exclude those two items, you are still looking at still fairly solid growth. I would not be surprised if these numbers were revised. But with the rise in the unemployment rate, it is a bullish number for the bond market. The number probably will tend to be a bit of a fluke."
