OFF topic Re Amzn. Take this for what its worth, but I heard someone on CNBC yesterday say that Amzn is the kind of stock that major money managers use to draw in shorts, and then blast them away. The implied comment has to be that the stock price has nothing to do with the "future" expectations ... just a benefactor of a trading situation. Kinda scary if you hold the stock, but if you've realised 500% gains, do you care ??.
I think the same maybe true of other stocks, certainly it was true of a money manager who rotated from Lycos, to Excite, and then briefly to SEEK before Asia hit. It was interesting to watch. Is this relevant to AOL ... ??? Who knows ....
