ICBC price kicked up early today. I presume that it is response to the news I heard on the radio: Astoria is buying LISB (Long Island Savings) in a swap for about 1.5 Astoria shares -- valued at about $69. Havn't checked LISB's book value lately, but this must be almost 5X book!!!!! (LISB -- another that I sold too soon.) Charlie.
