Would have to check my tax records from last year, but initially bought between 4 and 5 about two years ago and watched stock drop after that. Then company offered shareholers a rights offering at about 2.85. Sorry to say after stock hit 6 I sold. The young lady in shareholders relations is very helpful and sent me a consierable amount of material comparing smaller oil companies.(Lawanda or some such Texas type name??). How do you evaluate oil companies?? Here is another interesting situation for you, coal seam gas royalty trusts, particularly Burlington. These high yield tax free (tax status changes after 5 years or so) have good yield for senior citizens like myself and ptential for price appreciation. I wondered if you had any present value analysis experience or have seen such analyses performed on assets in the ground.
