Doug, I'm a minnow compared to Seth's cruise idea - me in the $2,000 or less arena. But, my 2 cents. If you go on a cruise be sure it is on a ship large enuff to have stabilizers on it and that it will always get into port no matter the roughness of the seas. I got stuck on a Carnival boat that kept us at sea because it was too rough to dock or transferr via ferry. Also, if you are on a ship your options are limited to what's on the ship so make sure it has what you want onboard. Typically - eating, bingo, gambling, drinking, splashing in wading pool. All stuff I can do in my back yard. I opt for going to a Place and then taking daytrips from there. mho ed
