Brian: Thanks again for the information on holovideo. The article on
the URL you supplied is excellent for demonstrating why holovideos would
be such a significant development. I must confess, a lot of the
technospeak was unintelligible to me, but I did note that current research
on holovideo technology has not developed a good system. After reading the
article, I am still wondering where SEXI is in this. Your reference to
the "holographic toys of LazerTek" is intriguing. Do I recall that LazerTek
and SOE are not going to amalgamate? What does this indicate to you?
To me, it seems that either SOE is uninterested in the technology available
through LazerTek or vice versa. The first scenario would be promising, if
your analysis is correct about the state of LazerTek's holographic
technology, the second does not bode that well for SOE. If LazerTek has
inferior technology and it does not want to be involved with SOE, what
is the status of SOE technology? Of course, all of this analysis proceeds
on the assumption that there is nothing of an alleged "deal" between LazerTek
and SOE. I recall a post along these lines. Anyone out there able to refresh
my memory?
