Rick,
Apology accepted though not necessary!
I trade semiconducter, software and wireless sectors, and was trying to equate their product development with biotechs. In semis/sw/wireless, cos. generally make incremental improvements on existing product line, or else a quantum leap forward. Incremental improvements are quicker, safer, cheaper. Quantum leaps takes time and mega resources, but if they catch, they catch big.
Hmm. Not so different from biotech after all!

PS - I discovered PARS while researching TSEMF, a very solid Israeli semiconducter company, and tripped across Omer Schvilli's Ariga Portfolio. Broke all my rules about dabbling in sectors I know nothing about, and have been accumulating ever since! |
