The CEO, David Wetherell, was just on, and discussed all the companies CMGI had invested in and all their new companies that are coming out in the next year or two that are supposed to be big! Such as Reel.com, GeoCities, PlanetAll, Silknet, Engage Tech., and a couple others. He mentioned that a couple of these could be comparable to AMAZON.COM. He also discussed how it usually takes around 2-4 years for an internet company to start turning a profit, but could take less, like in Lycos, Yahoo, etc. And of coarse he discussed CMGI's 40% stake in LYCOS, and it was also metioned that both INTC and MSFT own 4.9% each of CMGI. It was a mostly factually segment, however, it seemed very bullish....in my opinion.
