I dug this up about PLPT. Note that execs on the board are Cameron Myhrvold, not Nathan.... This was posted 2/11/98.

CARPINTERIA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 1998--PulsePoint
Communications (Nasdaq: PLPT.O), a leading provider of enhanced services
solutions to the telecommunications industry, Wednesday announced the
appointment of two new members to its board of directors.
Joining the company's existing board are Cameron D. Myhrvold,
vice president of the Microsoft Internet Customer Unit, and Scot B.
Jarvis, a former McCaw Cellular Communications executive and
co-founder of Nextlink Communications Inc.
The announcement follows one made on Feb. 2, in which the
company introduced new products and announced a company name
change to PulsePoint Communications from Digital Sound Corp.
(formerly, Nasdaq:DGSD) to reflect its new vision and direction.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome two very distinguished
individuals to our board," stated Mark Ozur, president and chief
executive officer of PulsePoint Communications. "Mr. Jarvis and Mr.
Myhrvold bring enormous expertise in two key areas for the
company -- wireless communications and computing.
"Their addition complements our existing board and solidifies a
leadership that is visionary and rich in relevant experience."
Myhrvold, a Microsoft Corp. executive since 1986, directed
several divisions of the company prior to being appointed vice
president of the Internet Customer Unit, including director of
marketing for Microsoft's developer division, director of systems
marketing for Microsoft Europe, and director of developer relations.
"I am very pleased and look forward to working with PulsePoint
Communications," said Myhrvold. "They are clearly redefining enhanced
services for a new era in telecommunications, creating an environment
for tremendous enhanced services application innovation."
Jarvis, a wireless industry pioneer, is co-founder of Nextlink
Communications and of Cedar Grove Partners LLC, a private investment
company. Jarvis currently sits on the board of directors of Nextlink
Communications, and has previously served as a board member of NEXTEL
Communications Inc.
Prior to this, Jarvis held two vice president posts for McCaw
Cellular Communications (now AT&T Wireless), including vice president
of acquisitions and development for McCaw Communications Companies
Inc. and vice president of McCaw Development Corp.
"PulsePoint Communications has an impressive vision for enhanced
service provisioning," said Jarvis. "I have worked with many carriers
and am extremely impressed by the depth and thoroughness of PulsePoint
Communications' solutions for this market."
Myhrvold and Jarvis join PulsePoint Communications' existing
board members: J. David Hann, chairman of the board; John D. Beletic,
chairman and CEO of PageMart Wireless Inc.; Bandel L. Carano, general
partner, Oak Investment Partners; Ozur, president and CEO of
PulsePoint Communications; and Frederick J. Warren, general partner,
Brentwood Associates.
All of the board members listed above are proposed for
re-election at the company's annual shareholders meeting scheduled in
April. At that meeting, shareholders will also be voting to approve a
1-for-4 reverse stock split.
"We've broadened the experience base of our board to support our
overall vision of defining the enhanced services market for a
converging telecommunications world," stated Ozur. "Cameron Myhrvold's
business development and Internet leadership at Microsoft and Scot
Jarvis' pioneering leadership in an aggressive wireless market are key
to building a board with a strong vision to the future."
