ATXI mgt: You could tell from Ira's tone that he was pissed about Riedel et all jerking him around and "embarrasing" him w/ the denial pr's and the "talks w/ persons representing themselves to be from Firamada" quote. No dragonslayer would take--or forget--that. That personal affront and the collateral attempt to sabotage the deal cost those boys, as of that moment on Friday, their jobs and parachutes. No warrants, no salary contract (as was extended to Myriad's mgt. per Ira today), no moving expenses, no collecting money at "Go." You reap the wind when you mishandle a deal in a situation where you're causing a co. to lose money that should make $. Moral: Old Southern proverb: "Don't call the junkyard dog ugly 'til you're safely through the door." O.K. fans, an encore: "Diplomacy is saying 'Nice, doggie!' to a ferocious dog while you look for a rock."
