While the news from Japan may be on the grim side, I'm not sure it is clear what the impact on CYMI will be. Since Japan's favorite economic strategy has been growth through export, we may see continued purchases of DUV equipment to bolster their ability to do pursue that even as things are horrible on the home front. Japan is in a different position from other Asian countries in that they have an enormous amount of capital.

There is also the possibility that things get so bad there that they will finally undertake fundamental economic reforms.
