The resident sceptic turned me on to this stock, but I have a couple of questions for anyone that knows the fundamental story on VRTL. If you look at the past five years' financial data, this looks like a poor company, with declining revenues and earnings: www1.wsrn.com So there must be more. Is the TMN product the new hope for the company? How much of a lock does VRTL have on the TMN market? Who are the other players? Is it the embedded nature of the TMN product that makes VRTL's product unique? WHy is the company still operating in the red after the last four years? Acquisitions? Were they good ones? I apologize for asking the newbie questions. I went through a number of Adam Smith's posts to try and find these answers, maybe someone can point me to another regular that has told this story and I can search his/her posts. I also went through about a hundred of the latest posts, but nearly all of them are about stock price, not fundamentals. I know it's not trendy to care about fundamentals (YHOO, AMZN, AOL, etc.) but I think it's still important. TIA.
