Oil has rebounded strongly, yet the osx is very weak today. Does anyone have an explanation for this action? When we talked de-coupling", I don't think this is what I had in mind! PK We seem to be de-coupled since Wednesday. Oil was basically flat Wed/Thurs and up 1% today. OSX was very strong Wed, moderately weak Thurs and flat today. Sure don't see much of a connection. Didn't Thean say that we needed three days of de-coupling to see a trend ? Of course, its not the right kind of de-coupling. I think the OSX and the general market are going to be directionless until earnings season starts. John
