Okay Matty here goes,
1)Why use Zulu-tek over the other competitors? There is no definitive reason as far as I can tell? Maybe Sesame Ad if it works?
2)What does Sesame Ad do, and how does it work? What are its advantages/disadvantages, and why so important in the advertising world?
I think it provides TV quality ads over the internet. Not sure how it works. Hopefully people would be more inclined to watch more interesting, higher quality ads, meaning more money to the company that can provide this type of advertising.
3)Why is Softbank Interactive Marketing important? What does SIM do, in other words, how do they accomplish doing what they're doing? What are their costs? Who do they pay? And finally, what was the point behind the acquisition(ie how does merging with SIM help with Echomedia's revenues/business and vice versa)?
SIM is important because it would provide the sales end of the business. First they bring in sites that are willing to provide space for customers who wish to advertise over the internet. They then must sell the technical development capabilities of EchoMedia and the wide variety of sites they hopefully have to customers who want ads developed. I'm not sure what their costs are, but I would think most comes from the development end and paying the sites that are providing the ad space. The merger was to bring in a solid sales force and a solid line up of customers, unfortunately most of the sales force has left and so have some customers. (Sheesh, Matty this was 5 questions in one.)
4)What is NETZ Autotrak?
This has been a little bit of a puzzle to me, but I think it has something to do with keeping track of automobile locations for dealers so if they need a particular car for a customer they can find it at another dealer quickly. I'm probably dead wrong on this one.
5)Have you visited the company? Did you like what you see?
No and N/A
6)Finally, (an opinion question)when do you think the financials will be out? How many times were we told financials would be out in the past on certain days?
Hopefully by April 30th, 1998. Unfortunately several dates that have been mentioned have come and gone, so I can't honestly hold my breathe on this date either. (I thought you said finally!)<g>
7)Is Telia filing a lawsuit? HINT:Call and find out.
Yes.
8)Is Altavista happy with the product they received from Echomedia? HINT:Call and find out.
No.
Did I get any right? I just love taking tests.
