Ed. CBC Radio in Newfoundland did an interview with a prospector today who will be standing, with the help of some friends, outside the doors of the Dept. of Mines and Energy in St. John's until April 14. They've been there 24 hours a day since April 1 to get the first crack at a vacant claim in SVB. Now that's what I call anxious in getting a piece of SVB! Apparently the government advertised this claim some time ago and the bids don't start until after 32 days later.This prospector, with 30 years experience, thinks there's better than a 50% chance there will be a big discovery up there.!!!!!
