I can answer your questions about Clive Johnson. I mentioned I have been with Bema since 1989. Recently in the Financial Post August 24
week-end edition there was an arcticel titled "Sleepless in Cerro Casale". Here are some excerpts that answer your question as to why Bema has not jv'd this property. "with anger still in his blue eyes hours after the incident, Bema Gold Corp. chairman Clive Johnson says he has left an unsympathetic analyst a voice mail he won't ever forget. The errant analyst has dared to dash cold water on the company's Cerro Casale gold deposit in the Chilean Andes without, in Johnson's view, doing enough homework.......He's a pitbull says Don Halliday, a Vancouver investor relations executive who spent 5 1/2 years with Johnson at Bema. When the going gets tough, he digs his heels in and doesn't back down for anyone.....

Clive is fiercely independant and will do what he can to bring this project forward alone for now. Until there are more drill results that will be the case. As an example Barrick did not approach Arequipa until 5 or 6 months of drilling confirmed what their geologists believed. Perhaps we will see a similar scenario here.
