re: You are correct in that there is risk in investing; however, being wrong big time is a function of the homework or due diligence one does. I agree with you. But lets face it, there is an ORCL or a CPQ or an INTC type of announcement out there that despite all the work we do, will get by us and it will hurt. Remember the move does not have to be that great to hurt a lot. Say you were 180% long INTC when it happened, it would have been a big time bad even though the move was only about 12%. Of course that guy probably did not do his investing homework, if he had, he would have not had all of his eggs in one basket, so the point of this post is pointless. NEXT Jim
