You are correct that this is not a windfall to the company as a whole, but to individual departments that have normally tight IT budgets, the Y2K $ represent a 1 time windfall that they are utilizing to buy new systems (already Y2K compliant), upgrade existing systems (again Y2K upgrades), or take on systems integration projects that ultimately will bring the dept/company into Y2K compliance and hopefully more efficient. Sometimes the only way to get a firm Y2K compliant company-wide is to have a systems integrator such as Sapient or 1 of the big consulting firms do an overall strategic systems analysis and implement the solution. Therefore, there are more opportunities that Sapient can take advantage of than meets the eye. - Scotk
