I hope Porter had some calls as well. Why would the value
of the stock change that much with the announcement of a
3 for 1 split? Simply because of the fact that it is easier
for small investors to buy a board lot? Note that it is
also easier for small investors to SHORT a board lot. Not that
I'm recommending it, just seems like the logic should work
both ways.
