No problem there in waiting. As the new year began, some analysts I pay attention to were on Wall Street Week. They seemed split to this year. Some predicted, and it seems correctly, a strong first half for 1998 and then a good decline or correction. The others saw for a good second half. I was perplexed at the time. But if we look at the second half being the start of the next three year cycle based strictly on time, then it might explain both views.

Being cautious is never a bad thing and I would highly recommend it.
