I think this came off the joke thread, so apologies if anyone has read it. A little boy was visiting his grandparents and noticed his grandfather standing in front of the air conditioner without any pants on. The kid asked, "Grandpa, why don't you have any pants on?" Grandpa replied, "Your grandma asked me to do this. Yesterday I was in front of the air conditioner all day without a shirt on and got a stiff neck." I leave you with a true story. My great-grandfather was a big Cubs fan. One day in the late '40s he was listening to a game on the radio when my great-grandmother (a dear Irish Catholic woman who thankfully lived until I was 16) asked him to drive to the store to get some bread and milk. My great-grandfather asked her to keep listening to the game and let him know what happened when he got back. He returned about 30 minutes later to find my great-grandmother sobbing uncontrollably. He said, "Carrie, what the devil is wrong?" She said, "Oh Howard. It is just terrible. The man on the radio just said a runner died at second base." Back for more fun on Monday. DScottD
