considering going public.
It has named Marvin
Burkett, former chief
financial officer at
Advanced Micro Devices,
as its CFO and
executive vice president
of finance. Burkett, 55,
will play a pivotal role in
preparing Packard Bell
NEC to go public, the
company said.
