Dale, you mentioned you would be out by earnings. If this quarter saw
a larger shipment volume than anticipated per some of the earlier
posts the past few days, isn't it possible there could be an upside
surprise. I have not seen any quantification of whether that
possibility exists. I asked one of my associates to check for a
first call number or something in S&P and he couldn't find anything
but maybe we didn't look close enough. Are there any published
numbers available on what the street is looking for this quarter
assuming anyone is looking at all. And if numbers exist such that
there is some benchmark available, has anyone sorted through the
numbers to see if we meet, exceed or have a shortfall. Frankly, I
have been playing this on a trading basis too but I am now more
inclined to hold through this period where Syquest is the leader and
Iomega is on the defensive and the Orb is not yet a viable alternative
but when things change I would tend to rotate out. Dale, your
thoughts or any comments from others.
