I agree ... I believe the company received around $ 500,000 for the train.
From the last announcement, I see the company was profitable in the second half of 1997, reducing overall losses for 1997. BUT VCAR only sold three (3) cars in the second half. So if they sell 1 car per month, will the profitablility continue ?
Hopefully, we'll see the sales go to 3 per month, then higher as word gets out. The Florida Times-Union did an article on Vector ( TUES or WED of this week ) and focused on the fact they were operational again, looking to sell 1 car per month, then 2, as demand increases. Bottom line - keep a low profile, build quality cars, and expand sales production gradually while maintaining profitability. Also looking for other product lines to wear the VECTOR nameplate.
I am holding - patience may be rewarded soon.
