Hello Fellow Threaders, It's been a long time since my last post in September and it's good to be back. The number of posters have dwindled and so have the posts but maybe things will start to pickup. Spent some time reading what was posted since January and have some observations. Hank, no I didn't bail as you questioned in #3466. I'm here and ready to discuss what ever turns you on. How is BOP doing for you now? Are you making any money? Most of you know that I have been both a follower and investor in PRLN for a long time. I have suffered my losses the same as many of you. In previous trading I'm down a few K but in my present holdings I'm in pretty good shape. Judy, it sounds as though I won't be as rich as you if it hits 2.00 but I won't be unhappy either. Previously my confidence in PRLN was placed in its technology plus the expertise of John Babish and the guidance of Colin Campbell on the board. Unfortunately this wasn't sufficient and the Titanic almost went under until the rescue ship Biomar appeared on the scene to salvage what was left. In addition to the funding from Biomar we also got a complete change and increase in the board membership including Mr. Israelsen just yesterday. In 1997 I remember reading a lot of posts wanting this very thing to happen and yet when it occurred there was hardly any reaction from the thread? If your memory is vague I suggest everyone take just a minute and re-read the backgrounds of the new board. I don't have the background or expertise to evaluate their qualifications but it certainly appears to be a very elite group, that a company the size of PRLN is very fortunate to have. For every critical area of PRLN there is someone on the board to give expert guidance. I for one cannot remember a better-qualified board, even saw someplace where it was referred to as "World Class". That my friends is no small distinction. Jonathan referred to the PRLN home page and the new business plan and so I'll use the same references. Paracelsian is being transformed in front of our eyes from basically a one-product company into a multi faceted biotech company. I for one am thankful the board is forward thinking in realizing the diversification necessary for this company to succeed and working to that end. I would be remiss not touching on the new home page and especially the press releases. It's a pleasure to read them and understand what I read. The ambiguity of the old releases (or no releases) was something else. My personal thanks and compliments to whomever is doing the writing. There are of course the alliances with other companies that will hopefully be beneficial. I believe the company is trying to increase shareholder value and investor confidence as quickly as possible and it would not surprise me to see a very positive announcement just before or at the annual meeting. This is approximately a 6-week window. Not as positive as Leo appears to be, I'm strictly guessing. There are many positive things happening and I just find it difficult to be negative at this time. I went through too much negativism in the past and prefer to take a more positive outlook This was once a premier forum that presented a high level of discussion which I would hope can resume. There must be a lot of lurkers who it would be good to hear from. Would welcome all input both pro and con, lets get this forum active again. Keep one thing in mind. THIS IS A BRAND NEW COMPANY and should be treated that way. "CAVEAT EMPTOR" (buyer beware) These are my personal thoughts and opinions and I emphasize that Paracelsian is still a very high risk company as is the Bio-Tech sector so do your home work.
