Robert - Re: "Somebody just gave me a Harris manufactured 8086. Cool little collector's item."

Is it an 80C86 - CMOS?

I believe Intel licensed the 8086 to Harris as long as they only made it in CMOS - this was circa 1981/2 before Intel converted its x86 line to CMOS.

Re: "You're the person claiming price/performance leadership, so I thought you would know. It better be less than $799. "

Frankly, I don't have a clue what they sell for because the product is not even officially launched.

However, my guess is that systems will be for sale at $799 using the Celeron not long after the launch.

Of course, MSS - "Monitor Sold Separately".
