Thread, Intel made a smart move buying a ton of USWEB stock prior to the IPO. Their stock price has nearly tripled in less than 5 months. The other major leader in Web Development recently went public by merging with REGI, Neoglyphics.

This new industry "Web database Development" deserves to be taken very seriously going forward. It seems like every company is moving aggressively to cut costs by getting rid of paper and putting everything they can on the Intranet. This trend IMO is still in the first few innings of a very long game. I recently read that Bank Of America saved over 50 million dollars in their first year, by shifting allot of their training, and internal publications to the web.

Imagine this....Every company policy on the net, every travel arrangement made via the net, every pay invoice, every training plan, every customer database, every sales trend about individual products.

I know there are many of you in business today who realize how much money corporations will save by moving to this "paperless society". It's been talked about for years, but with the advent of the Intranet, it's time may finally have come.

Heck! even the Navy is taking this approach seriously. :-)
