Undervalued Stock Ideas Editor Likes Intel, Dell, Microsoft

Dow Jones Online News, Friday, April 03, 1998 at 09:29

NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- The editor of Undervalued Stock Ideas
newsletter said he looks for companies that dominate their market, have
little debt and show a solid cash flow.
Randy Williams-Gurian said his newsletter focuses on technology and
retail stocks; his picks include Intel Corp. (INTC) and Dell Computer
Corp. (DELL).
He also likes Microsoft Corp., (MSFT) which he says is under very
little pricing pressure for its software products.
"We also like the fact that they are spending over $2 billion on R &
D, and we think their NT product is going to do extremely well, better
than the market expects," Williams-Gurian said.
He said his average holding period is 1 1/2 to 2 years.
