James, I pretty much agree with most of Prechter's thinking except the role of gold.

Currently, I'm highly bullish on gold & silver, short term bullish on dow, s&p and small caps, think the NDX is peaking in the next few days.

I wouldn't use that terminology for the wave count but agree with the idea. If you look at this chart the market peak internally last june and july. Since then we are going to new highs, but running on fumes. Notice the lower peaks, while the S&P continues it's march upward.

I agree with his thinking that this is building into a grandsupercycle worldwide crash. This is the mania to end all manias. Everyday in the mail I get at least two solicitations for credit cards or loans. The banks have lost all concept of reality and fiscal prudence. Your pet cat could apply and get a Visa Platinum, then take out a $8000 cash advance to throw into a dow 10,000 peak.

Prechter doesn't understand the historical and biblical importance of silver and gold and thus has predicted that gold will fall in a deflationary spiral. Everything else is pretty much on.

Rocky roads ahead,
pray a lot,
bb
