This issue was heatedly debated some time ago here on this forum. The AMD bigots were in complete denial until they were forced to accept AMD's own word for it. It is clearly documented on AMD's webpage under processor errata in the processor revision guide.

Let me make something clear, all processors have bugs, Intel's as well as AMD. Just don't let the AMD morons tell you that only Intel processors have bugs. The issue I wanted to point out is that the K6 isn't taken seriously enough for it's bugs to be considered a problem. Bugs in toys are much less significant than bugs in work machines. That's why Intel's bugs get so much attention and no one cares about AMD's.
