Indeed, it is nice to see another Geoff. We are getting less & less uncommon. The only response one can have to your statement is: we'll see. You know, software co's are my favorite short. Reason being is that people always overestimate the marketablity and profitablity of software. Why they don't do this with books I'll never know, because like books, software is merely copyrighted. Unlike hardware, which is patented, software has very thin protection (to those who know IP law, this is axiomatic). Anyway--I would love to hear from PSFT employees. Wouldn't you guys? GT p.s. Thanks again for keeping this civil everyone. People who short stocks are usually so obnoxious that it gives them a bad name. "Short people got no reason...." I hope I am not do that here--I merely have a "short-term" "short" position in a stock that "long-term" is a great pick in my book.
