Re: ...you will be free to enjoy a peaceful non-criticizm of your stalled stock.
You know, AMD fans should be the last people in the world to gloat.
Tell me, just exactly what rate of return would you have had holding AMD for the last few years? How about Intel? And which of the two co.'s is still going to be financially viable in three years? Hint: it sure as hell isn't going to be AMD.
What kind of validity of criticism do you want?
How about something w/ analytical meat to it? Or is looking at pretty pictures w/ lots of squigly lines the best you and your little soulmate Albert can do?
In all 100% truthfulness, I could give a rat's a-- what the share price of Intel has done as of late. When I add to my position here, I'm investing in the business, in its intrinsic value, not speculating on short-term price fluctuations. I'd much rather see a decline so as to provide further buying opportunities vs. a unsustainable run-up that leaves only market-timers w/ money in their pocket. (Successful investing is a marathon rather, than a sprint.)
Now, tell us, how many people buying AMD truly believe in the intrinsic value of that business? Evidentally Jerry Sanders and his dancing puppet troupe do not. If they truly thought they were building for the future, they wouldn't keep lowering the price point on his stock options. Rather, their actions are saying loud and clear, IT AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN FOLKS. WE'RE CASHING OUT AND GETTING ON ONE OF THE FIRST STAGECOACHES OUT OF DODGE. The really amazing thing is that Sanders and the board keep screwing the co.'s shareholders, but you stick around for more punishment. It's almost like you were all abused children, and you all equate getting slapped around w/ being loved. It's just plain pathetic.
Albert, Ali, whatever. You're practically the same person as you're both babbling the same party line w/ no value to add. Complete wastes of bandwidth.
It's clear that both of you have little to fill your lives, otherwise you wouldn't be hanging around here, trying to throw rocks at the big dog next door. This bitterness, this Intel-envy is very sad. Maybe you guys need to get a hobby or something.
Have you thought about dating girls? Then, again, maybe some people would rather get screwed by AMD. (For me, at least, there's not enough alcohol in the world to make Jerry Sanders look good late at night. I guess we all have different turn-ons. Obviously, some sicker than others.)
