Thanks for the reminder regarding xDSL. Over the years, this might be a big deal but nationwide rollout will take quite a while. In the interim - many better services (IE Yahoo/MCI) are offering dial-up Internet access for cheaper and cheaper ($15/month now). CNCX also has expensive debt to maintain. Shrinking margins.

My decision to sell out at $18 (woops) was based on 3 things:

CNCX is not upgrading to v.90 in my area until "the end of the year"

Their customer support response to me regarding this issue was very short and unappologetic when I asked their customer support when they were planning on upgrading to the new v.90 standard. (although AOL has made a fortune being rude and unhelpful to customers - I think non-newbie ISPs must be more responsive to customers due to the vast competition)

When my latest 6 month subscription is up with them - I am dumping CNCX for a better provider Yahoo/MCI. They have better ping times, it is cheaper, and they are already upgraded to the industry standard v.90.

In any case, I'm glad people that stayed with this stock are doing well. I sold too early because of the punishment I endured in this stock after the IPO (bought at $14.50 and rode it down to $8 and back up again...) Just don't forget to keep an eye on a seat in case the music stops.
