It is not really new information, it is just getting more media coverage! and Imat is now able to market the scanner in the usa, formally done by Seimens, and not very well as they had a conflict of interest IMO, The Xray people will resist this new approach, and anyone or any procedure that this replaces, give resistance! A new better med procedure, has been well established in test after test and now may be poised to gain wide acceptance! I would rather have The ultrafast scan, rather than a balloon sent thru my veins!!!!Also this lends its self to other possible uses that boggle the mind, Just need to demostrate and test! Then gain acceptance in the med community!
I have said before this technology just screams to be used! It is NON-INVASIVE so for goodness sakes it should be used...Like looking in the window prior to going inside!!! Any inside trips eliminated save tons of money for Patients and Insurance companies....much less the benefit to the patient, which should be the most important...I did not mean to get off on a RANT but in this laymans opinion, it is common sense!
