Richard / Southesk Energy Ltd.

You listed some familiar names we haven't touched upon. Zargon Oil
& Gas is one I've been following since they went public and they are
progressing quite well. For a company with short operating history, I
liked the way they presented their annual report. Most reporting was
filtered down on a per share basis----production, reserves etc. I liked
the concept and now compare peer companies (based on market
cap) using that method. It allows one to compare and determine
better values.

We have touched upon Raider, Palliser and Westward. Saxon Pete
and Oiltec are on my list to look into. Then, there is Elk Resources
which is listed in my Top 20. Did you see my post regarding the top
$-Volume oil and gas stocks traded on the Alberta Exchange one day
last week. Elk Point was overall #2 in volume that day, around $1.7
million dollars in shares were traded. I tried to draw attention that here
was a stock that sold for just $0.38 within the last 52 weeks and is now
almost $7.00 a share. Just how higher can shares go now.

I noticed the list basically covered mini-cap stocks. Were any junior
oils with market cap range of $50mil to $200mil listed. I think this
fund would be interesting for Canadian shareholders looking for tax
write-offs. Tell me, the oil & gas newsletter that Frank puts out, are
most of the companies he discusses in this fund. Nothing wrong with
that, I am just curious. By the way, next time you talk to him, ask him
if he has a computer. Tell him we're here. Not looking for freebees, but
overview comments wouldn't be out of line.
