Martin Whitman and the Third Avenue Value fund and his related entities own almost 20% of the outstanding shares now. This guy has been around a long time, and has consistently beat the market with his long term value based selection criteria looking for growth. Unlike most overpaid mutual fund gunslingers this guy is a find a good company that is undervalued, buy it, and hold type of investor. Portfolio turnover is very low last I looked. Our type of guy.

I can't tell from this 13 G/A filing whether they are increasing or decreasing their holdings - I have a feeling last I looked they owned an interest here but not 20%, but need to get into another data base off the internet I use to check that ownership.

By the way, if you check out a few of the links on the Edgar page you can sign up to have all SEC filings on companies in your portfolio e-mailed to you the day of the filing, for free. Has been a neat service, you can really keep up with what is going on.
