Abbeydale:

Vargas' note regarding the change in listing in the U.S. is
significant. Most Canadian stocks listed on Nasdaq initially have
5 letters as the symbol, with an f as the last symbol. The "f"
identifies the stock as a "foreign" stock, and is restricted, such
that it can't be margined, and very few U.S. brokers care to deal
with it. So now, U.S. Brokers are much more at liberty to invest in
the company.

No doubt, there may be other things happening as well to advance
the prospects of this company, and it is being recognized as a valid
silver play as silver makes its mark in 1998.

Regards

Dan
