I was scanning on my VCR yesterday, and it looked like they were just sitting there watching the Dow flirt with 9000 for the last minute. That's quality programming! I find myself rooting against Dow 9000 now because of the ridiculous behavior on CNBC. The root of the problem is Congress allowing these media conglomerates to form. Cable carriers should not be aligned with networks. If CNNfn were carried widely, true competition would get rid of this garbage. At the very least, they would differentiate into a serious channel and a pom-pom channel. Tom
