.Supposedly. Either she's brain dead bordering on genuine mental deficiency, or her advisers counselled her to reject it for reasons of their own. Just my guess... Could Southern sense of honor have anything to do about it. Some folks especially, in small closed societies, like Little Rock, go to great lengths to protect their name. It is one thing to be a floosie in Rome or DC, but there was only one party in Arkansas. Is your basis for assuming Paula is brain dead, that she was a State employee? Do you have any data that shows she's slow, besides her geographic location?
