You hit the nail on the head. My motives are pure. I discovered this company by accident while searching under "lasers" on the AOL Internet Connect. I don't have all the answers and as you've indicated, my posting was intended to awaken others to the future so your site doesn't get a case of Myopia. In response to JM's question, the light-blade 2 can perform all current procedures although not all have been approved. The light-blade 2 is an improvement over past technology not the other way around and yes I do hold long positions in other optic companies. However, I take issue with anyone that indicates because of this, my research is not credible or suspect...hell, Im just posting like everyone else. If you guys (Palmisano, Kelly and others) have any brains left, you should acquire this company (utilizing the proceeds of the 8-9 million shares of LCAV you own-May 17th is not too far away), hold it as a separate entity, have a PP (Private Placement) with a subsequent IPO (Initial Public Offering). This would provide SUMMIT with the next generation machine it needs which could be paid for with the capital received from the resulting IPO. It would also allow for the creation of a Summit Technology POWERHOUSE with the benefits from new sales and increase in procedures going to the shareholders (who I might say deserve it). This is just my strong opinion based on solid research. Also, I hope you guys have your #%@^ in order for 4/16/98 when you and VISX have to go slay the dragon (FTC hearing). Get going...Pappy!

Now, would I be advising Summit Officers to acquire this company if I was shorting the stock. I'm trying to help them not to be so myopic like they've been in the past. But there's no guarantee they'll listen to me. Therefore, this indicates, Im just trying to past on the research. Maybe SNRS would acquire Novatec. Then I would be grabbing shares of SNRS by the handful. All I can do is pass on research. I cannot make decisions for others....Pappy |
