OObserver, Friend, Thanks...
Had no one in particular in mind: though you know who I might be talking about on the Yahoo! thread. That's too easy. And, anyway, "he's" proved himself to be mostly right. Which only, of course, just pisses me off royally.
The plain fact is, we all want to be gurus at least on some level. We want the admiration, respect, or even fear of our fellow thread-izens. At least, I do... Which reminds me, there are certain thread-izens on the Yahoo! scene who drop in, say something authoritative and guru-like, then disappear for three months, come back and expect us to remember how sagacious they were... which, oddly enough, in some cases they were. One such drop-in said words to the effect, "Of course, no one pays attention to me." Guilt-tripping in the anonymous land of Cinnamoan isn't a good play. Guilt requires a certain familiarity... or pictures of starving kids that I can't turn away from. In anonymous, text-based form it just sort of annoys me... like a tse-tse fly. (See under WHY WON'T YOU LET ME PLAY THOSE REINDEER GAMES.) The better play is appealing to my fantasies... my desire to have 15,000,000 shares of Wally World, etc.
As for SEEK, couldn't agree with you more about testing and breaking old highs next week. Actually, I thought it would happen this past week. Seemed like a lead-pipe cinch. But, I'm going on vacation to, uhhhh, Barbada, or, ummmmmmm, Bermudos, or my favorite Carribbean resort, Porte Cochere.
Best Regards,
