Thanks Bob !! Yes I may have displayed some irrational exuberance. I did want to start with an interesting debate since this is my first time posting to Silicon Investor since joining last December. But you need to look at the track records of Oracle and Microsoft. Oracle continues to disappoint on earnings almost every quarter and Microsoft continues to exceed expectations. I can't say that I like Larry Ellison much, nor his management style - perhaps that reflects my disdain for Oracle. For the record: I own neither Oracle or Microsoft stock but I am a specialist in database development and design using Oracle products.
