Stochastic chart. I think this depicts Doug's remarks pretty well. geocities.com Middle box. The red vertical lines refer to the dates mentioned. The red arrow signifies the "threshold" date. The red horizontal line is the threshold. As Doug noted these crosses occurred on July 31 of '96. March 31, '97 and again recently, March 31, '98. As an addendum, I added the MACD in the top box. Note the confirming cross of the zero trigger line in each instance, with the exception of the most recent of Doug's crosses. However, refer to one of my three charts yesterday and you'll notice the MACD cross of it's own dotted line in early March. That is also a "buy" signal although a bit more risky than the zero line cross. By the way Doug, if there is a chart you'd like posted, just ask, I'll send you my e-mail, you can send me a file and I'll hyper-snap it and upload to my page. Stan
