S. Edry,

If you are contemplating getting involved with FAMH, please read the posts of Jin Chun, Brad, Cheryl and Leroy Tolles . They have done a ton of DD on this and are well-respected. Quite a few posters on have visited FAMH offices and have been quite impressed. FAMH is the real thing with plenty happening.

With regards to Morton Downey, Jr., here's what I know:
FAMH was looking for exposure for it's company in the investment community. Morton has an "infomercial" type program called "Invest America". I believe it can be seen on a limited number of cable stations, but it is predominantly seen on Airlines during flights (not sure which ones).
From this, FAMH's relationship continued a bit.
I think Morton needed some investors to fund his new show that is subtitled "Where Enemies Meet".
FAMH saw it as an investment opportunity.
So FAMH provided some initial funding.

In-your-face TV is pretty popular right now. Note: Jerry Springer #2 in ratings. I saw on the news that Springer gets upwards of 5,000 requests a week from people (idiots) that have stories and want to be on the show. Springer said that they will never run out of material.

When we last heard about a month ago, Morton had about 100 TV stations lined up to carry his show and more were in the works.

We learned on a FAMH conference call about 6 weeks ago that Morton left the air in the 80's with a 6.0 share. Ira said that even if the comeback has a 1.0 share, it would mean about $100,000 per show for FAMH. I have also heard that Morton began taping April 1. (Nobody has been able to confirm this.) Morton was also quoted in the New York Post as making a public bet/challenge with Howard Stern for $1,000,000 that Morton would beat his ratings.

In conclusion,
There has been so much going on with FAMH recently (Acquisitions, financials, ATXI merger onto NASDAQ, etc), that nobody has really talked about good ole' Mort.
Morton is not a "line of business", just a small investment, one in which Ira said that FAMH has made it's money back already from advertising sponsors.

I think it will be a small (yet profitable) part of what FAMH does.

FAMH is probably the BB's best chance of going NASDAQ by the summer (maybe sooner). Then, we will be properly valued.

I hope this helps.
I hope that you decide to get on board with FAMH. It is one penny stock that will actually allow you to sleep at night. (Look at the historical closing prices. It's not a rollercoaster.)
