Babette, with all due respect, I think your statement, <<<The only possibility I can see is if there is a take-over by people who know how to manage a company where management fails and and leaves.>>> is a tad unfair to Reed's efforts and accomplishments. Q1 was already shot well before Reed joined CS and Q3/Q4 too were the result of sins committed prior to his brief tenure.

As I stated in my earlier posts, I feel Reed was making great progress in addressing major voids in CS's past strategy, which has relegated them to number four. In my opinion, the analysis by F. McClimans that Inside Novell posted (3323) is a more realistic and fair assessment of this situation.

CS's best chance to regain it's former glory and to successfully compete in todays networking environment lies with Reed's strategic vision, unwavering commitment to ethics and professionalism (to customers, shareholders, and employees) combined with Mr. Benson's proven work ethic and fiscal acumen. And whether this partnership will exist remains to be seen. Until then, I too am taking a "wait and see" approach to CS moving forward.

imho,

cm!
