Jeeze philipah, who pissed in your corn flakes this morning?
Why do you assume all these negatives, why a finders fee, twice within the year I have been approached about such private placements, I don,t have anywhere near that kind of cash but if you talk to enough IR types sooner or later they will hit on you. My guess is that the 'astute investor' is already heavily committed and only protecting his investment.
If you add 600 K to the volume of the last fews weeks the price will go up. Maybe only a nickle but then you also have brokerage. Besides you miss the whole point which was to get the money into BIV accounts; not other shareholders.
As far as quick they could have the cash now and do the paper later.
As far as muss and fuss, lets see,a secondary issue, rights, warrants, convertible debs, secured notes, unsecured notes, line of credit, straight up bank loan; none of these are easier to do. If you know of easier ways to quickly raise capital post a list of your 4 or 5 favorites. After actually selling product and generating cash; my list ends with bank robbery and winning the lottery!
If you want to know about sweeteners call and ask; do your own DD. No stock exchange in the world is designed to protect you; they exist for their members to make money. BTW the Bre-X debacle unfolded on the TSE.
Your comment on the Titanic will, I hope; prove to be unfounded, however it was a nice line and there are those of us who like our sinking ships to be neat!
