Novell, history will probably repeat itself.
First, let me tell everyone I am long 1,000 shs and am not trying to get people to short the stock. That would only hurt me.

1. Novell has dissapointed the investment community for over five years. Earnings trend has been downward or lateral.
2. Novell has made huge mistakes along the way (Wordperfect).
3. Novell's management has never been much to brag about.
4. Novell could not get their earnings to rise when they had less competion. Now they have MSFT which no matter what people say is a force to be reckoned with.
5. Novell management should have sold the company long ago to someone who could get it up and running.
6. If things have never been better, stock would not be creating new lows all the time.

Lets get real about NOVL's future. I hear people on this board talking about NOVL like it is a Cisco or Microsoft of their industry, and I hate to tell you this, it is not. It's a struggling company trying to stay alive. Revenues are trending down, earnings are trending down, and more competition is entering. I hope the stock goes to 15 so that I can make some money. It can go up even if things stay the same at NOVL, but lets be real how we portray this company. Comments are always wellcome.
