Pugs,
Keep the faith, stay with the thread. I for one of many agree with you. Nobody ever expects confrontations to get messy on the outset, but they often do. We have confronted a major series of players on the NASDAQ scene, people who are used to making big money at the expense of the novice and not so novice investor. They use a variety of time proven tactics based on superior information and an understanding of the system several levels above that of even sophisticated investors. I say this because they were part of the system and can thus are in the best position abuse it by operating in the gray areas they uncovered while working in the system. Think about it, its even claimed that our opponent owns a brokerage firm, making him a market insider. What kind of links does he have with MMs?. The article Ellen posted was quite revealing wasn't it. (Great find Ellen) It could have been called "corruption at the highest levels, SOP". We should not now be suprised then at the resources of our opponent and his ability to paint a negative picture designed to destroy our solidarity.
What we must do is acknowledge the environment, and recognize that even-though that environment is slated against us, we have a significant weapon in our hands. That weapon is our solidarity. We should maintain that solidarity no matter what. We must recognize that we are the captains of our own ships, but we have lashed ourselves together to form a solidarity bond that can be unsinkable. Our only true enemy is divisiveness.
Personally, I don't have a problem with a couple representatives of the shareholders/owners of RMIL meet with management for a how goes it. Two pronged approach makes sense - but if you go in with hired guns (lawyers) how do you really think you will be received. We are owners of somewhere around twenty percent of the outstanding shares, and possibly 95% of the float. Lets approach things from that perspective and get information that substantiates where we really are in term of ownership percentage, and state of the company. This is certainly our rights as owners, but we don't need to do it by putting a hired gun to managements head.
Additionally, lets not be fooled into thinking anyone of the personalities on this board that has been neying to their hearts content, paid or unpaid, is worth listening to regarding defining our strategy. Why should any of us believe that now, after all the bad mouthing and negative posting, that they truely have our interests at heart. Oh, do you think they feel sorry for us. Well as for me, I don't need their pity. You make decisions in this life and you live with them.
I've said all alone that this could prove to be a historic issue and could lead to a lasting change for the better in the penny stock market. We can choose to remain strong, even if lurking in the shadows, or we can flee. I choose to remain strong.
Solidarity, A personal choice
