christians are all different, but no where in all those differences do we have the right to force others.
I don't care what a person says...quote the entire bible from memory , but to quote it without love is not right(I cor 13). It doesn't mean you aren't a christain , it just means you can't love.
In a since ...a christian who can't love is broken and not letting Jesus really rule. A christian who's sole purpose is to force and belittle others is not seeking the kingdom. There are no scriptural basis for it.
A few think they are the final prophets. They act like the prophet side of Jesus but are incapable of showing any love. That christian needs a dose of the Holy Spirit and needs to go back to the beginning. If you can't love like Jesus then I doubt God has anointed them to prophet like Jesus.

paul and Jesus do give standards for christians.
1. Love the Lord your God with heart and soul and love your neighbor as yourself.
For by the standard you measure it will be measure unto you.
And, by the way you judge then your father will judge you.

As for me, I hand out all the mercy I can , since I need that mercy from the Father.
I'll believe and hope and pray that einstein asked for the mercy of Christ in his last days rather than state he is in Hell.

Lay down all the rules you want..god will hold you to them.
force others all you want..by that std. you will be measured.

I find it so funny that these prophets of God have never really loved a lost person long enough to hold their hand and lead them in a prayer when they give their hearts to God and ask for the Messiah to rule in their lifes. To never have held a hand and cried with that person is a real lost.

I know the Word and have studied it and cherished it for almost 5 decades. but, I don't let that knowledge replace a loving relationship with a loving Father. I have been in the fire many many times, but I cherish a merciful Father more than an experience.
