major, pioneer trading is FABULOUS. $35 flat rate. no max # of shares... never heard the 4th ring yet (100s of calls - sometime a week :-). actually, i can't remember the third ring... you talk to people and get great service. instanet, selectnet and other goodies to trade between the spread. quick execution. after hours trading... can save you $1/4 sometimes... news... ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC!!! options are a little pricey, though... 1-800-248-5008. my avg commission at e-trade was well over $60 including all their f*ckups... take this into account. good luck... jeff ps - i do not get paid millions of shares of stock to promote pioneer (nothing, in fact...)
